February Housing Report from Arkansas REALTORS® Association

Arkansas Realtors® experienced an slight decrease of the number of homes sold statewide in February as reflected in a report distributed by the Arkansas Realtors® Association this morning. The number of homes sold in Arkansas in February declined by less than two percent over a year ago while the average price of those homes sold increased by over 7 percent. The average price of the homes sold in the 43 county area surveyed by the Association increased from $141,498 in February 2012 to $152,254 in February 2013. Statewide valuations in February rose by almost 6 percent from last year.
